Revised flood insurance rate maps for coastal areas of Nassau County will be available for review at a public open house 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 24 at the Atlantic Recreation Center Auditorium in Fernandina Beach.
The preliminary maps show the risk for flooding and would be used to help determine flood insurance and building requirements. Residents can ask questions about what the new maps will mean for their property.
The recreation center is at 2500 Atlantic Ave.
